ACTIVE Network is an online event registration and race management software company, including products for consumer and event managers. Products include ACTIVEWorks Endurance, ACTIVE Camp & Class Manager, ACTIVE/Hytek Meet Manager and Active.com. If you've run in an Ironman or Color Run, purchased tickets for Pearl Harbor or Hearst Castle, or booked a campground via ReserveAmerica, you've probably personally touched ACTIVE.
As a user researcher on ACTIVE's Global User Experience Research team, I helped improve ACTIVE products across multiple domains.
ACTIVE Network has multiple products across verticals in various stages of maturity used in various countries, and each product had different research needs. I designed and ran research studies to help improve ACTIVE products with research methods such as interviews, site visits, heuristic evaluations, card sorting, surveys and usability testing.
I worked with stakeholders such as product managers, designers, and account managers to determine primary research questions, perform research, analyze data, and present the findings and key recommendations to relevant parties.
Since ACTIVE was purchased by Global Payments, I also helped improve Global Payments products by incorporating research into their design process via various techniques.
