Rockwell Automation is a provider of industrial automation technologies to help companies manage, monitor and run industrial processes. Rockwell software and equipment allows users to standardize and ensure quality by allowing them to interact and monitor with their equipment via RA technologies.
Chances are, you've used or interacted with something made with Rockwell equipment. Rockwell technologies are involved in everything from ensuring uninterrupted power, to safe medications, to being used to make your favorite brand of toothpaste or chips
As the lead user researcher on Rockwell's User Experience Design Team, I played a key role in improving the UX of Rockwell's current and future products.
Rockwell's users rely on their products daily, worldwide, across multiple domains. To create a better experience for users, I designed and ran research studies for users with a variety of methods such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and tree testing across the product lifecycle. I also helped integrate the research team into the design process as well as evaluated and improved the research process.
I collaborated with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, account managers to identify research questions, create relevant scripts, perform analysis and present the results and actionable recommendations to the relevant stakeholders to meet the needs of our users.
